    how good is my new pc?


    I just got me a brand new pc and here are the specs http://img442.imageshack.us/img442/1834/specs1.jpg listed in that image what are your thoughts on my new pc i got it for 500dollars on black friday im just wondering was it a good buy from a hardware standpoint i love the pc as of today and im happy i finally found something that i like but i dont know mutch about the hardware so was the cpu and everything worth the 500 i spend. and one more this are intel processors designed more for games or for multitasking ?

    Better than a dual core, not as good as an i7. Good for light to medium gaming.

    Sounds to me like a good deal. It's hard to get an entire computer for anything less than $350. So, since you are only at $500...there was only an extra $150. You certainly didn't get taken for a ride.

    i wanna get a mac next month because i have been with out a pc since august and im in college right now is it possibl to get a mac that had an i5 or an i7

    This is certainly possible. A core i7 MacBook Pro starts at $2,199 and the core i5 starts at $1,799.

    damn thats more than i planed on spending i may just get the macbook for 980

    in a way i did my first pc broke on me back in august the guys would not fix it they kept sending it back to me broken so eventually they replaced it and luckily it was around black friday so i got this one for 500 its a laptop

    The answer to your question is simple: If you are happy with it, it is a good deal.

    Regarding a Macbook or any Mac: They are a rip-off. I would get a normal PC on which you also run e.g. Snow Leopard. That's a cheaper deal - I think it costs $29.

    you can run show leaopard on a pc ? And what makes you say macs are a waste of money im curious i dont know mutch about em

    I never ran Snow Leopard myself. But I have seen other people do it. As for prices, compare the hardware specs of any Mac with the same specs of a Windows PC and you will find that the exact same Mac hardware costs nearly twice as much.
