    system displays 100% usage all the time


    the title pretty much says it. it displays 100% even when not running any applications

    Win7 64-bit, ASUS K50ij Pentium t4400 Dual-Core 2.2 GHz

    What processes are running? Type 'tasklist' in a command windows, copy -paste the results running.

    PS: To copy from cmd window, left click upper left corner, Edit>mark. Select the texts , right click>Copy.

    Open task manager and look under the processes tab and note which processes that are using the most amount of CPU and post back with name of the process that is causing the excess CPU usage so other more experienced members can properly respond.
