    Link Buttons in Explorer

Libraries are great in Windows7, but I want to add buttons in explorer at the top, that I can click to quickly access folders without having to dig or use libraries. Anyone know how this could be accomplished ?

    Hello Jerome,

You could also add links into Favorites in the Navigation pane like in Vista for quick access.

    Hope this helps,

I never looked at Favorites in that way, thanks for the tip. Although QTTaBar is really what I'm after, but I have a question, I want to keep the tabs open even when explorer closes is this possible ? I searched the forum and found my question, but not my answer !

Favorites in the Windows Explorer navigation pane, is really the C:\Users\(user-name)\Links folder.

    You could:
    • Pin the C:\Users\(user-name)\Links folder to the taskbar for easy use. -> Taskbar - Pin or Unpin a Folder
    • Set Personal Folder to Display as a menu in Customize Start Menu to easily select the Links folder from your "User-Name" button on the right dark side of the Start Menu.
