    Computer doesnt remember settings

I tried everything but nothing works.
I restore registry from registry cleaner, made system restore, and restore files that STOPzilla said they are viruses. I think its STOPzilla fault, that nothing works.

Here is a problem, every time I restart computer I have to customize icons appearance(notification) in taskbar. Second problem is that i cant make default programs for opening files permanent, everything is opening with Windows Shell Common Dll, and when i try to change program, nothing happens, desktop blinks but program is not changed.

Thats my problem, but somehow I have filling that there will be more problems.

Try this if you can find a point before you ran the registry cleaner. If you started this yesterday pick a restore point 3-4 days ago.
    System Restore

Please leave the registry cleaners for Win XP in the future. Sorry but I think that is the worst thing you can do to Win 7.

If that doesn't work I hope you have your Win 7 disk.
This will repair the registry and defaults of Windows and the registry WITHOUT removing your personal files, pictures and folders.
    Repair Install

Delete the Stopzilla that is not working properly.

    Hello DigDeep,

A repair install will not affect your installed programs either. :)

I tried but it gave me error.
What if someone exports hole registry of windows 7 x64.
Would that help. I think there is a 70:30 percent of chance that it would help
So if anyone would do that please upload it to zippyshare

Put it to RAR it will be 95% smaller

    DigDeep,

You will not be able to use another computer's whole registry import. Each registry is unique to a computer and cannot use one from another computer.

What was the error that you got? Did you do it exactly as outlined in the tutorial with a retail Windows 7 installation DVD?
