windows 7 32 bit ram question

how can I get windows seven ultimate 32 bit to use all of my 12gigs of ram? I have them all plugged up right and it sees that they are all there but says only some of it is being used. how can I change that without going and buying the 64 bit, that would only use a little more. I know there is a way just not sure how if someone could enlighten me that would be awesome Thanks in advance:)

32-bit windows is limited to a maximum of 3GB of memory. You'll have to switch to 64-bit to utilize the whole.

Yes - only if the application needs it, of course.

x86 is just another word for 32-Bit.And your system's pretty nice. Switch to x64 to utilize its full potential.

If you have the 32bit version you do not need to buy another copy. The license for Windows can be used with both the 32bit and 64bit version. You can only have one activated at a time. So just get a 64bit disc and install with your current license.
