| | Startup repair disc questions? Is the startup repair have any version differences or language versions? If you repair 32-bit you can not repair it with 64-bit installation DVD or repair disc. But can Windows 7 Ultimate installation DVD repair Windows Started edition for example or other versions? And if system repair disc is created in Windows 7 Pro can it be used to repair Windows 7 Ultimate or other versions? And same question for Windows Vista? In Windows XP you have to have the same version installation media that you are trying to repair, is this right? |

| | A 32bit startup repair disk will repair a 32bit installation any version. A 64bit startup repair disk will repair a 64bit installation any version. Same Vista & Windows 7. XP will need the same version as in installed. |
