Installshield Installation Information

Hi,

I noticed recently in my Program Files folder that there is a hidden folder named 'Installshield Installation Information'. It is taking around 100mb and contains folders in this format: eg. {4FC670EB-5F02-4B07-90DB-022B86BFEFD0}.

Is it safe to delete it or should I just leave it alone?

Hi Slasher and welcome

Leave it, since it is only 100 Mb deleting it may give you more grief than the HD space reclaimed.

Installshield remnant
Since removing some software a few days back, this irritating Installshield ghost screen appears in the middle of my screen whenever I boot from cold. It is active in the sense that even though the text is missing a mouse click on the ghost CLOSE button gets rid of it. I have tried JV16 tools to...

Empty InstallShield window
From time to time an empty InstallShield window pops up on my computer with the only things visible on it being an icon on the left, an empty button and the text InstallShield right above that (see first part of the image). When I click the button it'll sometimes close down to the task-bar and...

I am tring to implement "Device Metadata" for Win7. But after installing the devicemetadata-ms file, there is nothing changed in Devices and Printers folder. I chose to install the file by INF file and it certainly shows in Driver Detail of Device Manager without error, even in Event Viewer. Does...
