computer shout down, why ?

    computer shout down, why ?


    hi
    i have computer (3 years old)
    after 15 minute he shout down alon
    all the fans are working - so i think that there isen heat problem
    what can be the problem ?

    Oops soz pal didn't explain that very well. It stands for "Power Supply Unit"

    Actually first things first. When was the last time you opened it up and gave everything a good cleaning, blowing out the fins on the heatsink and all fans? Computers are very good room air cleaners.

    Check your temperatures. Maybe they are very high.

    If the problem is accurately presented - PC shuts down (no blue screen) after 15 minutes, there can be no mystery - overheat.

    A spinning fan is not necessarily a working fan.

    Lint build up in intake areas, cooler fins, on fan blades.

    PC placed close to a heat vent.
