Please Help Me Find Cause Of This Problem!

I'm using an Hp Pavilion dv3-2310ea. My laptop has a serious problem with randomly crashing. It doesn't matter what i'm doing, now and then the screen will go dead black (like it would if i disconnected it's power supply) and then the computer will automatically start itself up again. It has been sent to the HP repair centre twice now where they have replaced the cpu and motherboard and ran bios updates, but it's still doing it and it is very frustrating. Sometimes many hours go by before it does it and sometimes it switches off every 10 mins. Please somebody help

Since it's been to HP's centre twice now without resolution, I would push for a replacement.

It's definetly not heat. I have core temp, plus my laptop tells me if it shut down due to overheating.

If it isn't crashing (no indication in the system or kernel-power logs that the system was rebooted or crashed), then the reboot is happening "underneath" Windows at the hardware level, just FYI. I would strongly suggest that you investigate the system event log for indications the system crashed or otherwise restarted abnormally *because of Windows telling it to*, either via a crash or some other event. If it did not, make hp replace that machine.

I've checked the event log. I've got a level critical for the kernel-power saying "The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly."

I'm not getting a BSOD though. It's literally just going going dead black and then automatically restarting.
