No page file should be faster?

    Erm just felt saying that by experience of having a manual value set pagefile
    or let windows manage it, there was no performance diference
    nor there were fragmentation from pagefile as some mentioned...

    also i felt the possibility of it working better leting windows manage the pagefile,
    8gb aint much of space on an 500gb HDD
    (some people were saying windows set 1.5 times ram available but that didnt hapen to me
    as i have exactly 8gb memory ram and windows set Pagefile 8043mb)

Hi Guys its me again.. My Question is, is it possible to increase the File Transfer Speed on my Computer??? So that i can copy faster my Files!!
Hello! So, well right now I am copying files (around 3.6GB) to a DVD. The thing is though, it is taking much more longer than it should take (apparently, it should take only 5-10 minutes?). It says it'll take **4 HOURS** for the file transfer to finish. Why is it that it is taking so long? ...
Is it a good idea to create a 10GB partition and use it solely to place page file? And then disable pagefile and use Eraser to securely free wipe the partition? Would this get rid of the contents inside pagefile for good? And does the speed and performance be affected if pagefile is in another...
