Extremely SLOW file copying/moving speed sometimes

its taking forever to copy 4.5 gb file...

it doesnt take too long normally when im copying to my external hard drive(NESO hitachi xHDD 250GB)

normally copying a 800MB files takes less than a minute, this time it took >an hour D:

Does the "slowness" appear to be constant or intermittently copying fast and then slow ??????

Just as, sometimes a download gets 'corrupted' -- I think this happens occasionally with transferring data as well. When this happens to me, I just stop the transfer, close Windows Explorer (and sometimes even reboot the computer) and then start again. It's usually fine the second time.

Extremely slow boot speed
The speed used to be optimal, but in the past weeks it increased up to 4 minutes which is insane. I disabled most of non microsoft services and startup programs but it does not decrease at all. If you need any further logs/info feel free to ask. Thank you - Tom

Copying files to discs (live file system) is EXTREMELY slow
I've been burning discs using the Windows 7 built in burner using the Live File System option, but when I drag and drop files to DVDs and the copying files window comes up, it's extremely slow.
