    My Documents 'View'

    Good morning everyone,
This pc is about 72 hours useage-old. My last pc was using XP. Now when in 'My Docs' I can't get 'Views' to show thumbnails. Is there a way to tweak this? I used thumbnails a lot because I had so many files, it helped me to quickly locate one graphic from another. Can anyone help????
    Thanks!

Up in the tool bar, the icons on the right, click on the first one.

On the tool bar on top, to the right of "Organize, Share With, Burn, New Folder" is an icon that looks like a box with parallel lines. Click on that. The "large icons" will give you thumbnails.

Thanks guys. I tried, and all it is giving me is very large folders, not contents in folders, as in XP.
You know, where it shows you one photo or graphic of what was in the folder....grrr
Am I still doing something wrong?

You were right, I forgot I needed to pull a graphic out of subflolders!! TY

Hi! Exotic, welcome to 7F :)

This may explain it better, and give you more options on what you are trying to accomplish:
Thumbnail Previews - Enable or Disable

    Hopefully this tutorial will help.
In doing a web search I have found that for some users the only way they could fixit was to do a clean re-install of the OS.
