too many thumbs file

a few weeks ago, i restored a system image to this laptop.. unfortunately, i also wiped all data from my d and e drive which resulted in me having to purchase easus data recovery just to recover my files.. it did recover at most 97% of my files but i also got a lot of thumbs file afterwards - almost 1 thumb file in every folder.. i've deep (or full or whatever the program calls it) scanned my laptop with MSE, MBAM and SAS atleast twice already and said no infection found.. i want to delete all those thumbs file but am afraid of the consequences.. is it ok to delete them or not?

thumbs.db is just the file used the store thumbnail images on picture/video files in each folder, it's safe to delete them Windows will just recreate as needed.

Can't delete Thumbs file
I want to delete 20 folders containing images. Whe I try to delete more than one folder, I keep getting a Thumbs file. when I skip it, it returns for each folder. If I delete a single folder, it gets deleted OK. Here is a screen shot of the message I get. What is it and how can I get rid of it?...

FileASSASSIN and thumbs.db
I just set FileASSASSIN as the default program to the thumbs.db and kick'em to the curb. Until a better solution or fix comes from MS. The work arounds are too complicated and take to long when you are working on something. Buck :geek:
