failed Mouse Commands?

Hey hey
sorry i dont know where to put this :S
but for some latley after the pc loads the widnows files and starts up the mouse for some reason dosnt send its commands properly its hard to explain D:
like when i click on a window it dose nothing or when i alt-tab to a widnow and then click somewhere on the window it sends it to the background and when i scroll the mouce over the bottom taskbar none of the icons light up and when i put it over start it does nothing
however when i go to start via the keyboard and tab my way to somewhere say to "computer" it goes in there fine and acts like nothings up but when i use my mouce it stuffs up
sometimes after i button spam the aero (or whatever you call it) button on my pc and switch between windows that way on the odd ocasion that makes the mouce work again but generaly takes an extra 5 min or so
at first i thought it was because i instaled c++ 2010 but after i unistalled it it still does it :S and i am absolutely stumped as to what is causing it
can someone help me please? =) before i like murder my pc....dont want to be knows as a computer murderer D:
please any help would be very greatly apreciated =)
