Windows 7 - Clear Recent Items

Hi, is there anyway in which to clear the recent items automatically in windows 7 instead of doing it manually?.Thank You.

here you go

you'll need to use gpedit.msc - i think it only comes with the pro or ultimate versions of 7.

or you can just turn the whole feature off.

Hello Riptorn,

You could enable Clearing Recent Document Items History on Exit.

Here's the one from Vista with other options to use to do this. They work in Windows 7 as well.
