Cleaning CPU's thermal paste.

Do you guys leave the CPU in the socket? or actually remove the CPU completely?

i keep it in the socket. i feel i may bend the pins if i take it out.

I leave it in the socket to get the majority of it off. Little detail cleaning once removed.
