AMD Turion X2 doesn't switch frequency

Hey, I've got problem on my laptop since build 69XX, now I'm on RC and problem is still here... Power plan settings doesn't contains Max CPU usage option and computer runs at full 1,6GHz on any power plan :-(

XP,Vista no problem... any ideas?

Do you have C1E and Cool'N'Quiet enabled in BIOS?

I haven't Cool&Quiet option in bios, it's automatically ON... As I sayed, on Vista and XP no problem with switching frequency (1,6GHz / 800MHz)

my AMD Turion X2 TL56
is speed stepping ok in 7100 and now in 7137
so not sure what your problem is

I have cool n quiet enabled in the bios and RC1 isn't stepping at all. I can't figure out why. Any tips?

Is this just when you click the battery on the lower right hand side it will give you two options only, if you click the more power options does the High setting show up or is it missing from there?

On every power plan my procesor runs at 1,6 GHz :-( and in advanced settings I've got no options in procesor power management (only active/pasive cooling - no effect to frequency).
