Hi, Im currently running Windows 7 x64 build 7232 with a Intel Quad 2.8Ghz CPU. I was looking at my resource monitor and saw that the first core on my CPU was running at around 50%. Whilst the other cores are running at around normal rate (between 0 to 10%) on the desktop.
I also checked my memory and it seemed to be using around 1.12GB RAM (4GB total). I was just wondering if this is normal, because I haven't got many programs running in the background apart from drivers
, and a Anti Virus program.
I've looked on this forum and have tried some of the suggestions such as disabling the high definition audio, and removing the gadgets feature. But the first core still seems to run at 50% on the desktop.
I appreciate any help.
