    question RE: secure erase


    do I have to take my SSDs out of RAID0 to do a secure erase?

    Hi.

    By secure erase, do you mean a format/scrub? I dont think its strictly required, but I would break the RAID and do each disk seperately.

    SSD / HDD : Optimize for Windows Reinstallation

    This is what I was trying to do... well not the reinstall windows part, I was going to restore from an acronis image.

    Thanks for the response, I actually hit enter before reading your reply and the drives are being scrubbed while still in RAID.
