Some of those CPUs are really impressive. I wish I had one when I do video editing. I looked at my two modest CPUs - an AMD 4800+ with a CPU WEI of 5.4 and the i7 in my Vaio laptop with a CPU WEI of 7.1

The i7 is disappointing, but then it is a laptop QM model.

Wow, that i7 is a bit disappointing. That's part of the reason why i keep laptops low powered and portable and keep desktops for the power stuff. I'm somewhat surprised though, the rest of the hardware shouldn't be impacting these scores that much.
