Ipossible to find fault after SFC reports unable to fix files

Since installing servicepack 1 my OS has been unable to pass an SFC check. Ive taken ownership of the extremely large CBS file but cant find the files its referring to. Ive done a search of the string "[sr] cannot repair member file" but the text file comes back empty Ive also created a details.text per hundred operations and this shows no problems. Ive noticed that there is no end of verification notice at the end of each CBS log and the repaired files seem to be the same files that where repaired during the last SFC. Does anybody know what might be going on here and how I can correct it?

We need the actual cbs.log file. If it is too large to upload here you can upload it to a file share like rapidshare and give us the link to it.

If sfc is saying there are files it cannot fix you are probably going to have to do at least a repair install if not a clean re-install.

For that you will need the win 7 dvd, a backup (just is case) and a restore point.

I have a similar problem on occasions, which I have found is due to the file manager that I normally use. Even though I have the system set to show all hidden and system files, apparently some remain hidden. But when I use Windows Explorer, the files are exacty where they are supposed to be.

Thank you Zigzag3143 Ive uploaded the CBS log in rar format and have all the requirements stated although the weekly backup and system image was made before I did the SFC so I imagine it carrys the same faults. I have my copy of windows. I would manually replace the files if I knew how to track them down and would like to resolve the problem without a complete reinstall if possible so any help in tracking the files down or understanding whats going on would be helpful. If you require anymore information please just state.
