Hmm, well it depends on what you want. The 4x1GB sticks should be slightly faster, but the caveat there is that you probably wont have any slots left for future RAM upgrades. If you use the 2x2GB sticks, you'll have free DIMM slots for future RAM, but it may be marginally slower than the former - but it shouldn't even be noticeable. :)

Ultimately, it depends what you want: The slightest bit of extra performance, or overhead room for future RAM sticks. Personally, I'd go for the 2x2GB DIMM's, for upgrade headroom.

    Hope that's a help! :)

Anytime you fill all the DIMMS, you create more stress. So, OCing may be a bit more difficult. (If you are considering this, something to bear in mind)
Then again, setting the 1066 to DDR800 speeds, CAS 5 will give more headroom for a CPU OC.

What timings do do the DDR 800 modules have? If its CAS4, I would certainly go 2x2 over the 4x1.

Because, Cas 4 DDR2 800 vs CAS 5 DDR2 1066 isnt really that much of a difference. Nothing you would be able to even notice that is.
In which case, if you do not plan on OCing, youd be better off, with the Cas 4 DDR2 800.

If you plan on OCing, the 1066 may be better. But with all 4 DIMMS full, it may make it slightly more difficult to achieve higher clocks.

    Use 2x2 and 2x1 and run 6GB. :)

As long as you can bridge the 2 cards, it is quite easy.
Right click on your desktop and go into "Nvidia control panel".
Go to the pane on the left side and look for SLI setup.
Tick the box/circle and your done.
May require a reboot, just can't quite remember that part.
I run SLI and setting it up was easy.
