    Hi,

i've a toshiba satellite A300-1C9 and it was time to change the battery so i've bought a new one the brand 2-power 6600mAh, but win7 can't find the battery? if i unplug the ac the battery works GREAT but i can't see the percentage and time left? when i plug the ac back in it says "on ac - but no charging"

    pls some help

There are no yellow marks in device manager

Go to power options, change plan settings, advanced power setting, under battery set low values for power levels and restart to see if this fixes it.

    not really no.

first when i put the battery in it says ' at ac - can not charge '
after a minute or 2 it went to ' can't find battery'

it' already my third battery -_-, so it can't be the battery i guess and when i put in the original battery i can see the percentage again.

Is it the right battery? Where did you buy it from you might be getting ripped off. I know with some HP laptops there is a battery manager program that comes with the laptop to get started. Does Toshiba have a program?

If you already tried 3 batteries and it does the same thing, then it is the batteries. they don't seem to be 100% compatible with the laptop.

Right those brand batteries aren't compatible. Some OEM batteries have monitoring cicuitry built in which the generic brands don't...hence cheaper. You may try another off-brand or buy the Toshiba replacment.

now the problem isn't unable to find it but now it says 'at AC- but unable to charge'

my battery charge led is orange witch mean it is charging but after 20 min its starts blinking with means its empty.

    suggestions?

Get the batteries from Toshiba directly.
