| | Slow Boot up time Lately when I boot up my laptop it starts up and gives me the welcome sign and then the screen goes black for a minute or 2 and then it boots up to the desktop. I tried going into MSCONFIG and removing some start up programs and nothing seems to work. |

| | I came to this forum looking for slow boot causes but I'm not sure I should feel too bad about it now. All I did was add a Hauppage HVR-2250 card and that more than doubled my boot time. However; complaining about going from 20 seconds to 42 seconds seems trivial now.  |
