Well, the BIOS is just the standard one where you can't control anything except for boot order. I just do the 99% Maximum processor state trick to turn off Turbo Boost during summer. CPU WEI reduces from 7.5 to 7.1 if Turbo boost is off. Single or dual core optimized games suffer from CPU bottleneck while there is no FPS drop from quad core optmized games when Turbo Boost is off.

If it keeps the heat down then that's all that matters! Or play in the fridge... As you will probably know Turbo Boost will only activate on dual and single threaded applications. Quad core makes no difference. Also to be frank many would not see WEI as a proper benchmark, however I do like it. PCmark or something like that is really what will separate PC's.

You would simply start a new thread in this forum or the Graphics Cards forum.

Here's mine with my new GPU but without SSDs as one died today and had them setup in RAID0.
I'm running OS from 120GB LD in RAID0 spinners (Barracuda 1TB 64MB, 7200 RPM) till replacement SSD arrives in a week or so.
Numbers look nice for spinners, don't they?
    Very happy with new GPU!
    Cheers,
    J
