Appreciate the input guys. I built this PC or some very IO/data intensive programs that operate at high Que depths. Any overclocking is focused on stable performance only. I happened to run WEI to facilitate the proper settings for my SSD's and notice the results. It is interesting to learn how difficult it is to reach the 7.9 for CPU.
On a side note, I spend time on several technical forums, this forum is by far, the friendliest and most helpful.

Thanks Snakeyeskm, we try to be friendly and helpful. Hope you will hang around. It is the best place I have found to learn a lot, help others and occasionally have some fun. What else can you ask For?

    Upgrade from P55 to Z68

I upgraded my motherboard and processor today from P55 to Z68. My processor was an upgrade from an i5-750 to an i7-2600K. My system is now screaming to the max.

Here is mine, after upgrading to a HD 6750.

I just don't understand why my HD has such low score, being it a Seagate Barracuda 7200rpm 1TB.

    Kicksilver

Spinner HD's never give better than a 5.9

Some of the 10,000rpm Raptors get up to 6.0-6.2

So good scores all around for the hardware.

As mentioned, a 5.9 is the most a 7200 spinner drive will score. I have/had 500GB 7200.12 Barracuda's as well...5.9. Have to get a SSD for the real improvement.
