your base score will be determined by the lowest scoring component.

3.8 on your processor is the lowest score, next is the hdd. Hope this answer's your questions.

Something is not quite right there. Your processor, a Phenom IIx4 965, is only scoring 3.8. Mine, an Athlon X2 7550, scores 6.0.

Could be a bios issue, you may need to update it.

start you pc and check see on post if your cpu is ID'ed correctly if its not detected correctly windows 7 is unable to correctly identify and load the cpu identification software into regisrty .

Had a simmular problem with a board not recognizing a 955 amd on my sons pc, it would only rate cpu as 3.1 and caused slow downs problems whilst gaming

I would suggest checking website for cpu compat listing for you motherboard, be sure to check board revision number as different board revision handle different cpu types. Dont be affraid to use official board manufaturers BETA bios updates they may help

Something is weird, I have a lowly Phenom II x2 3.1 gig running at just 3.5, and it gets a 6.7 for the CPU. Maybe windows doesnt recognize it correctly? IDK. I wouldn't worry too much, its not a real big deal. I am sure the thing flys...
