    windows 7 home premium 64 bit i think?

    performance and maintenance..


    hi.
    well i'm not a total newbie (well at least i didn't think i was until i read this site) i have a toshiba satellite L500 running windows home premium.

    i don't really have any problems with it at the moment (except for the slow as internet) but just looking for some tips on what i can/should do to maintain the system and even make it faster?

    appreciate any help.

    Let's not forget PC Decrapifier for new/newer machines. It's not the end-all be-all, but it's a good tool in the toolbelt (when used properly, of course) for cleaning up after some OEM installs, especially:
