System Repair not working!

Ok, i need to restore my laptop to an earlier time since i can experience its slower than before and my internet connection is very much messed up since it keeps disconnecting me automatically i think its because of the programs i installed yesterday and thats why i want to do a system restore but the problem is i can't

Whenever i open system restore it shows its turned off, i tried turning it on on the drives but it still says its off. i'm attaching the screenshot. please help me, i'm not calling the manufacturer support because i'm worrried about my data. and by the way i do not have a backup boot CD since my laptop is only a month old and well i'm a lazy ass.

Try running System Restore from the Win7 DVD or (if you don't have one yet) the System Repair Disc - Create.

You may have corrupted files causing SysRestore to have malfunctioned. Run SFC -SCANNOW Command
repeatedly if necessary to repair System files.

You can also consider copying out your data to restore to Factory Condition using PQService. First make your Recovery disks as a backup, then run the Recovery partition which is a more stable method of recovering to Factory Condition. just a question, whats the use of creating a system repair disk right now if there's a problem in my system?

Unfortunately, because you had System Protection turned off, Restore Points were not created.

YES! it worked! thanks alot! but my system restore was enabled a day before it was just 24 hours i been experiencing this problem from, where did those restore points go? do they get deleted automatically?

The screenshot shows System Protection was already turned on.

There may be problems with your System files that are making System Restore malfunction. When this happens System Restore will sometimes run from the Win7 DVD or Repair CD which doesn't fully depend upon System Files.

If not follow the steps to attempt to Repair System files, report back what it finds.

The two screenshots conflict, with the one on the right saying Protection is on for both drives. Yet the one used to Restore says it's turned off.

This can indicate a malfunction so worth trying Restore from disk which doesnt depend upon System Files, then repairing System Files.

i followed the steps to verify ran the test 3 times and it showed no error i'll create a system repair disc as soon as possible for the next time, thanks again both of you :) and thanks for moving the topic since i'm new i was confused where to create it.

but yes though the command prompt didnt show any errors whenever i run the uniblue registery booster *recomended by microsoft* it shows about a 100 registry errors and 11 in the windows registery.
