I do not use the software provided by Auslogics for that process.
    1) dont use any software to fix registry. Not needed by Seven and it can cause problems
    2) To clean up junk files download and use Ccleaner. It does an awesome job. I untick registry entries (see item 1 above)

The registry is the brains of the computer. Windows Seven is a very sophisticated OS. It does not need any external software to take care of errors in the registry. The most common error, if you did not use registry cleaners etc. are unused file extensions. Basicially, small pieces of changes that you made to the OS, such as uninstalle programs etc.

    What is disk defragmentation?

With Seven dont worry about the registry.
If you have junk files they will be removed with ccleaner.
Just do a defrag is you did a lot of uninstalling.
    First do a scan disk
    Then the defrag.

Doing many BSODS due to registry cleaners etc, I respectfully disagree with touching the registry. I will not comment further, it is not beneficial to debate subjective issues.

i downloaded ccleaner, and ran it..
    some memories were deleted,
    and
W7 and web browser seems to be responding faster.

    thank u!!

i did not know to scan disk prior to defrag...
I opened report after defrag, it was 6.62%.

    i am learning...
