    Query - Missing Out Somewhere?

Not sure what this means but am I missing out somewhere. Running Win7 64bit Asus P5Q Pro motherboard o/c'd to 373fsb with 8gb memory - PC2-6400. CPU-Z identifies as 400mhz. Shot 1. Shot 2 shows dram frequency as 373mhz. So I'm a bit ???? over this.
    Any input/explanation appreciated

    Hi Mart4494,

The reason is because the clock on CPU-z shows what it would be in single data rate.

As you have DDR2, you have double data rate so you would double that 373 - 373*2= 746.

So efectivly your ram should be running around the 740 mark, i may be mistaken but this my understanding.

As for the 400mhz in the first screenie, that is the SPD table and what safe speeds you can set your ram at before you are out of spec so 400mhz is the max speed your ram can safely run at and it is also showing the suggested timings below as well.

Hope that clears things up a bit.
