Windows 7: System repair disk could not be created

Windows 7 Professional 64 bit
 
 
System repair disk could not be created

Win7Pro64. Using recdisc.exe,
Getting error message "The parameter is incorrect. (0x80070057)"
CD/DVD drive works fine.
SFC shows no problems.
System working OK.
Any help appreciated.

Did you per chance delete the built in recovery partition? That seems to cause this problem.

Much obliged, Senor Ztruker, this was successful.

Booting from Windows installation disk and running recdisc from the c prompt gets it done.
