Maybe its your drivers... Look, its easier if you do a clean install, then don't install any drivers at all and see if you get the problem. If you don't, then we will proceed to installing drivers, I'll help you get 'em. We'll see along the way if you get the issue. If you get the issue again, that could mean two things. Either that, your OS installation disc is messed up, or we are installing wrong drivers, or, your HDD might have some errors. Before you clean re-install, can you run SeaTools and check if your HDD has issues.
