Delete downloaded files

Is it ok to delete downloaded files in the "download folder"?

If you're done with them, sure. They are only things you should have downloaded with your browser from the internet, and as such if you don't need them, you should be safe to remove them.

Welcome to Windows Seven Forums.

If it's any help to you I have found it beneficial to save any downloads to my external backup drive. That way, should you need the files in future you don't have to go through the hassle of downloading them again, but just re-install them from the backup drive.
