    Trying to enable Aero..


    Long story short;

    I wanna enable Aero but I get this:



    So how do I find and update my video card driver.

    A picture is worth a thousand words huh? Anyways what type of Video card do you have? Is it nVidia or ATI? What model number is it?

    It's Intel Extreme Graphics Driver or something like that

    Can you tell me the model number your Dell is? Like a Dell Inspirion "some number" etc...

    Ok I believe that is it...download this driver to your desktop and right click on the installer and choose run as administrator

    then go to the intel homepage and download&install the correct driver ;-)

    hey i think we did fix the video card issue in this thread yesterday.
    nevermind, Click start and in the Start search box, type dxdiag and press Enter.
    In that window, click on the Display tab and post its screen-shot here. I highly doubt Aero will work on your computer as it requires a graphic card of 128MB or higher.
