Why is my entire computer in slow motion?

I don't know how to exactly describe it but, every part of my PC, Aero, Movies, even Games, are behaving as if they are in slow motion.

I tried disabling Aero it didn't help. Updated nvidia drivers did not help. I re-installed games from steam. Did not help!

I don't know what could be wrong it just started working like this last night when i was playing New Vegas.

I tried system restore, did not work. I don't know what else I can do?

Hello Robert,

I'm not sure what may be the cause, but you might use the free Microsoft Standalone System Sweeper to run a scan on your system at boot to help make sure it's malware/virus free.

Hope this helps,
Shawn

I did what you said but it didn't help.

I'm happy to hear that you got it sorted. At least you know that you're malware free.
