    Taskbar frozen HELP

    Hello,

I have Windows 7 7100 on my system. When I started Internet explorer or Chrome alone(no other programs are working), the taskbar is frozen for approx. 1 minute. I really want to use Chrome, but reinstalling it didn't solve the problem.

    Please help me
    Thanks

Nice you have an IBUYPOWER notebook don't you (Compal JFT02 here)...Try to do a system restore and see if that fixes your problem

I tried that before, because when I had Vista installed, I had the same problem. It starts some time(2 weeks) after the new installation.

hm...might be a graphics card issue (freezes as it uses the graphics card more). To cancel alot of Issues...go ahead and update all of your computer's drivers to their most current version...is Chrome the only application causing the freeze?

I recently updated my Nvidia 8600 GT graphic card. But the problem is still there.
And the problem appears when I open Internet Explorer 8 also. But Firefox has no problem like that.

That is strange...are you using a cleaner program perhaps? Like ccleaner?

Of course. I use CCleaner. But I didn't use its' registry repair tool.
The taskbar becomes normal after 1 minute, so the solution cannot be too hard.

Good...CCleaner has broken most of the builds I have used it on...Have you alos tried setting IE and Chrome back to "factory defaults"?

I didn't tried that. But I installed Chrome just 2 hours ago cleanly and I didn't use CCleaner after that. For Internet Explorer that can be the solution but I don't think it is the problem. But I will try that on both browsers.

Ok...it seems that everything on your behalf is fine...it is 7 in this case. Have you tried a future build of it (like 7600.16385)? This might of been a bug in the RC
