I've been using Spybot S&D and HijackThis for years. I kept Spybot because it updates my Hosts file and I can enable/disable startup programs. If you use it, don't enable Tea Timer under Windows 7.
HijackThis will go deaper and includes services but be very careful with it. It also has a Host Editor but I don't use it much. I've been using NotePad for so long I forget it's there.

I'm sure there's better ones out there now but I'm just used to these. Old school, I guess. :)

Another utility is WinPatrol. There's a free version available that allows you to tweak your startup programs as well as monitor your system in real time and alert you to changes that may occur without your knowledge.

My suggestion is that one that StalkeR suggested .... Startup Programs - Change

Or, you may use CCleaner. Click on Tools > Startup .... you will get the option to disable or delete a startup entry .

TuneUp Utilities is also a very good alternative .... much flexible . But that is not free .

alternately you could type startup in the start search menu and run start up manager ,its is already a part of windows 7, no need for extra software .

Ccleaner has also that features. But Autoruns is better for that. Also if we go to paid I'll choose WinPatrol, wich is great.
