    system file

The other day while preforming maintenance I ran SFC /Scannow for errors. Low an behold there is a corrupt file. Normally this would automatically be repaired at next system reboot - not the case. It did create a error log file, for which I am dumb and can not fiqure out what it means. Upon further diagnostics I recieved the following:

"Index entry DISKSCAN.EXE-3F89ED32.pf in index $I30 of file 57562 is incorrect.
Index entry DISKSC~1.PF in index $I30 of file 57562 is incorrect. "

What is this file or any info?

I don't know what it means. I would run sfc 2 more times and see if it goes away. Some time sfc might find more than one problem but can't repair them all at the same time.

That message gives you (which isn't immediately helpful) the precise location on the disk of a corrupt file. Run disk check to repair it.

    1. Open the "Computer" window
    2. Right-click on the drive in question
    3. Select the "Tools" tab
    4. In the Error-checking area, click <Check Now

I have run chkdsk in three diffrent combinations and run sfc numerous times and the problem still does not seem to go away. I found how to read the sfcdetails log in txt checking for [sr], and once again to me it is jiberish. I have attached the txt for you to possibly help.
