WEI goes down after new CPU

Hey, new here, have a fun question.

System was running fine with WEI of 5.8 - Athlon Kuma Dual core processor was the limiting factor, graphics card (Asus Radeon HD 4670 1gb) was putting down a 5.9 in WEI. Upgraded to a Phenom BE 9600 quad core, still running the same graphics card, same OC on it, and now WEI is a 2.0 with the gaming graphics being the lowest..... wtf? Is it just the difference relative to the performance of the processor, now the GPU is the bottleneck instead of the CPU?

    Or what?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Make sure to check your OC (being a new CPU) and re-run the WEI assesment...
Start->"Type WEI hit Enter"-?Re-run assesment (lower right)

    Max thanks to you Zidane.......

*wipes brow* Whew! Yup, reset my catalyst profile and re-ran WEI assessment... back @ 5.9

*rubs hands together* now to save a lil more dough and see if I can't bump THAT score up.

I wouldn't be overly concerned with the WEI score system...it is still in its infancy...

let me guess, 5.9 was your hard-drive score? it seems that's a very common score, regardless of hardware!

I could be wrong but I read a while back that non-SSD HDs were being limited to 5.9 at the moment...that may have changed
