Maximum memory usage freezes my PC - Why ?

My memory usage is up to 95+% when I am running a backing on another PC (using that PC). My main PC is almost useless as it is using 95% or so memory...BUT...this/my PC is NOT doing the backup...only connection is that it is on my 5 PC home network using the same external USB backup drive that does have PC 2 doing a backup ?

PC #2 is using Acronis True Image Home (latest version/update) to do it's backup on the external USB drive attched to this PC.

Have attached jpg's and Process Explorer 64 log during this freeze up ?

What could be causing PC #1 to use all it's memory because PC #2 is doing a backup at the same time on a external USB drive on my home network ?

PC #2 doing the image backup is also running very slow but when the backup completes...both machines return to memory usage...more or less ?

Thanks...TRinAZ

4 gigs on main desktop ( PC1 running Win 7 Pro 64bit - only startup programs running) and 2 gigs on 2nd PC ( PC2 running Win 7 Pro 32bit with startup programs & Acronis only running).

I see you have 66 process running. If it was my computer I would check and see if I really needed all them running. I would also go to msconfig and check if I needed all the start up that are checked. Another check would be resmon. This will show you how your ram is being used. You can get to both by holding down the Windows flag key and hitting the R key.

Hi, I have a dell dimension 9200 and the motherboard can handle a maximum of 4gb of ram, but is there a limit per slot? In other words does it have to be 4 x 1gb sticks of ram or can I use 2 x 2gb sticks? The reason I ask is that I've had lots of bsod and crashes recently and after...

90% memory usage at idle - computer freezes
I have an EEEPC netbook model 1025c which has 1Gb memory and came installed with Windows 7 starter. From the start it ran poorly until I disabled Aero and basic themes - it is now on "classic" I believe and looks ugly but is now actually functional! One remaining problem is that it consumes 90%...

Memory usage maxes out 100% during file transfer, computer freezes
I'm really hoping someone can help me with this. I've got 4 internal sata drives in my computer. A 80GB SSD, 1TB HDD, 2 TB HDD and 3TB HDD. I recently moved overseas. For the move, I removed all the hard drives and the video card. When I arrived, I reinstalled everything. Windows boots...

Maximum usable memory for 32-bit Win 7
Hi, I used to have Vista (32-bit) on the machine, 4 GB RAM installed on the motherboard. Vista was able to allocate around 3.00 GB for itself, with a videocard that had 256 megs of RAM on it. As my old video card busted, I changed it into Club3D's Geforce GTS 250 with 1 GB of memory, and...
