    Memory question

    Hi all,
The pieces for new build are taking shape, all ready to receive my 64bit version of W7 in October (well it's all stacking up in the spare room), but stuck on the memory to go for.

It's an i7 chip on this motherboard:

    GIGABYTE - Product - Motherboard - Overview - GA-EX58-UD5 (rev. 1.0)

Wanted to go for G-skill trident 6gb kit (DDR3 - 2000), but not on the compatibility list for the board, so was after comparable alternatives between £100- £120 pounds??

    Cheers,

    Saw them earlier.
Had my heart set on the G-skill or equivalent though.

The GSkill will work fine with your board. Not all of the usable memory types are on those lists.
