Programs occasionally freezing
I really wish I could be more specific about my problem, but sometime during the past two months something happened that started causing my computer to freeze up any program for a few seconds at a time, and start back up. I've never had this problem before and I have no idea where to start looking for the problem. I have no virus or spyware issues that I know of, and haven't made any major changes to my PC for these past two months and it just suddenly started happening. I tried the disk defragger but it claimed my HD's were fine. I also moved a ton of junk off the drive that my OS runs on to clear up some space, and it now has 50 out of 80 GB free in the partition which should be plenty. I've ran a couple of antivirus programs but didn't find anything either. I'm not sure what I should do next. Could anyone give me some ideas on how to diagnose the problem? Thanks in advance.
