Computer looses an hour every Sunday

    HI All,

Every Sunday my computer drops back in hour. I reset to current time and it is fine until the next Sunday. I checked the setups is it says "this computer is set to automatically synchronize with 'time.windows.com'" and the box is checked for sync with internet time server.

    What am I missing?

    Sounds like the CMOS battery.

Does it lose precisely one hour each Sunday? It doesn't lose a few minutes each day until by the end of the week it's one hour behind?

Have you checked to make sure that it is set to the correct Time Zone? It's a fairly long list and very easy to click on the wrong zone by mistake.

Thanks Richc46 but my computer loses a whole hour on Sunday, not gradually.

Thanks LavaKing -- I checked the time zone and it was setup for "Central America" so I changed it to "Central Time Zone - US & Canada"
