Windows 7 on battery backup doesn't sleep or shutdown

Hi,

I've bought an APC Pro 1000 (600W). The driver installed successfuly and I can see the level of the battery and if or not the UPS is "plugged in" from Windows. I've setup Windows to sleep after 15 minutes when on the battery using power settings. But it doesn't sleep nor shutdown after 15 minutes. It's annoying because my computer is on 24/24 hours 7/7 days per week. If I'm not at home at this time, the UPS is useless. And I want it to sleep even if someone is moving the mouse or touching the keyboard or whatever. Is it a bug ? Do I need a software ?

Thanks
