How do I set my HDD back to one large partition?

I have a parition chopped into 4 parts and I would like to make my HDD one whole empty partition. Can anyone tell me how to that step by step?

I am coming from a duel boot Win 7 and ubuntu and I plan to go back to that after but first i want my HDD empty and reformatted.

This tutorial shows you the way: Clean Install Windows 7

You can repartition and format your hard drive during the process.

    G'day Rolo,

Are you wanting to reinstall Windows 7 on this disk from scratch? If so, then seavixens advice is spot on - that tutorial will do the business.

    Rolo,

Is the partition which has an empty partition before and an empty partition after, is that the partition that presently contains Win 7?

When all is said and done, do you still want the 100 MB reserved partition which Microsoft uses for recovery purposes and bit locker purposes but which is not really needed.

    Format the drive

Right click on the drive and format.
Do a clean install of windows7. You can't delete windows7.

once complete go to "disk cleanup", click "system files" then delete the win.old files.
