    Hello
I did SFC /SCANNOW and it did repair something but nothing changed it still turns on i noticed that its on a regular basis every time i turn on my computer. I was wondering would it be a good idea( i saw it on some site when i was searching for a solution) to find the .dll file and turn it to .bat so to disable it in general i mean if that was done wouldn't that cause the app not to turn on at all?

thank you for your help :)

I don't know if you can really get rid of it while Windows Indexing Service is running.

Disable Windows 7 Indexing | Windows 7 Themes

Also if you look around you should be able to find a freeware that watches running programs and automatically kills those you list. For example, wmplayer.exe, mobsync.exe

Another thing that can trigger file scans is offline files. If you have shared folders set to be accessed in offline mode, the system will keep scanning the files to see if they changed.

I use Everything Search and no Windows Indexing Service. But it's been a long time since I did everything to kill off all the file scanning. I don't remember all the steps.

Check task manager now and then. If you see mobsync.exe running, you still have more to do. :)

The simplest is probably to set up an autokill app to kill Windows Media Player every time it tries to start. At least until you figure all the stuff out. I can run WMP now without hassle. But the process spanned quite a bit of time. I should keep a log of some of these solutions. But I'm not that organized. :)
