Good evening,
I recently came to the conclusion a couple nights ago that I should just replace my motherboard with a new one. I mean, UEFI BIOS and an EPU with a TPU and SATA III ports and USB 3.0 ports is definitely a +1 versus my current board. It'd be great since I'm already going to upgrading literally every other component in my system except the motherboard.
So I hit up newegg and there are some M-series ASUS motherboards and some reviews are that they don't resume from sleep without being disconnected from power and drained out power-wise, then it can start back up even though S3 power mode is enabled. Hmm, that sounds like my motherboard even though proper AMD compatible RAM is installed and BIOS is up to date with S3 sleep enabled.
I kind of think I know the answer to this, but if there are people that do have an M-series board and sleep does work, I'd love to know how you got it to do so.
