when you notice high processor usage, try opening task manager (ctrl-alt-del, ctrl-shift-esc or right-click your taskbar >> show task manager). then goto the processes tab and click on the 'cpu' column header - this'll sort your processes by cpu usage.

    what's using the most cpu?

most of the time its something called dwm.exe and its take around 05 CPU... but down there is task manager its says 80-90%, and what ever i do the most little click, like if i click on the "START" button (in this case windows 7 have the windows logo) the cpu goes crazy. is this even normal?

    Its always thinking...

Here is a picture, sorry if its not in english, but i live in sweden :)

ImageShack® - Online Photo and Video Hosting

Down there you see something called "ledigt" which mean free like free avalible memory... is it normal to have that low number?

I'd guess you have about 3 GB of RAM? In that picture you are using only 1.37 GB. You have 1.258 GB of RAM available. I wouldn't think it's a RAM problem.

But you have 80 processes running. That's well above average. I have 46 processes running at the moment.

the problem may be from the charger, try to disconnect it and check the usage.

In Task Manager, you have to press the button "show processes for all users" (bottom left). Else you see only half the story. With that done, which processes use the CPU?
