    chkdsk c: /f /r question

    evening all,

I need to perform the above chkdsk c: /f /r command on my windows 7 system disk. when i run this in a cmd window i get the following message(see attached screenshot). If I continue to run this command, will the full dskchk line complete with the switches "/f /r" be actioned, or just some sort of basic dskchk.

i need to action this in order to migrate my os onto an ssd drive.

    thank you for looking

Yes. All the message means is that in order to be able to carry out the operation, exclusive access to the drive will be required. The only way of doing that is via a reboot.
